By Hayley Sigrist The Stone Roses' first single in 21 years is leading the way on this week’s Official Trending Chart. The Manchester band are No.4 in the midweek Official Single Chart with comeback track All For One and will seal their first Top 40 hit in 17 years this Friday (May 20). The band’s last Top 10 single was Love Spreads, which reached No.2 back in 1994. The second highest new entry of the week and another strong contender for a Top 10 entry is the Gareth Malone-led Invictus Games Choir with their theme song for this years games Flesh And Blood.  Two of the newest tracks in this week's Top 20 are New Girl from X-Factors Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and David Guetta's theme for Euro 2016 This One's For You, which features Zara Larsson. By Hayley Sigrist Independent music publisher Sentric has re-launched its music services division, unveiling a special register of artists as well as its new Masstrax library of pre-cleared music.  Sentric has obtained a number of hand-picked composers, artists and producers, all tasked with providing displays of their tracks for clients, including Grammy-winning producer Steve Levine, folk guitarist and singer John Smith and Stanton Warriors' Mark Yardley. Sentric’s new Masstrax library consists of performing right only music pre-cleared in perpetuity worldwide for televisual broadcast productions. This includes tracks from internationally renowned acts that are currently receiving radio airplay. Sentric Music Services is the sync and licensing division of Sentric Music. By Hayley Sigrist UK Music has warmly welcomed new Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, following his recent triumph in the mayoral election. A fan of music, Khan seeks to improve London’s music scene as cited in his manifesto: “There are few places on earth that can rival our city for its arts and culture. Our arts and culture help make London an amazing city to live in, and are a big draw to people from all over the world – both tourists and those looking to the city to work and set up businesses.” Khan’s plans to improve and protect London’s music scene involve the production of a visionary Cultural Infrastructure Plan for 2030. The new mayor has also agreed to set up Creative Enterprise Zones, providing dedicated small workspace with live-in space so that artists are given extra support to flourish. They’re used to this consistent rush; the bleeping from bleepers, the consultants consulting and that sickly, stomach-turning feeling only full-blown exhaustion can give you. They’re used to it, yet they still love doing it. The following day, for the following week, possibly even, for the rest of their lives. One of the junior doctors here at Princess Royal University Hospital is keeping herself busy. By 2’oclock, she’s seen the best part of 30 patients admitted in the day before. She’s organised investigations, started treatment plans for those well enough to leave, reported back to the one consultant on the ward and, to top it all off, she’s got the flu.  She’s working on what would have been her day off. He’s back now, and he wants you to know about it. The long awaited return brings with it Neon Indian’s Fourth studio album Vega INTL. Night School., which mixes Alternative Dance and Synthpop, creating a whole new blend of dance tracks. The album's second track ‘ Annie ’ chills the hell out, mixing some pretty prominent sine waves with an almost Reggae percussion pattern, making it sound like something straight from the mixtape of somewhere alternative and exotic (like, a place with Pina Coladas and speedos, you know what I mean.) ‘ Slumlord ,’ a particular highlight off...

Imagine both of those things, smashed together and painted in bright metallics and pinks. That’s kind of what you’re getting from Kassassin Street. The Portsmouth boy’s recent single ‘ Yeah It’s On’ toys with distorted guitars and wicked feedback, rumbling over soft, ambient lyrics that reach full potential in the singles chorus line.
